Show Poem: A family can form in a split second… July 07/ Richmond, VA / Gallery Five #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

Dentists on trampo
Deadline headline
Speed humping it
To the next venue

Hawk wind soaring
High above our never ending
Hot plate of twisted
Black tar veins
And cracked asphalt
Waiting for the next
Splatter day

King’s dominium
Chicken nuggets spilling
Out of every billboard

Eternal morning
Breakfast served all day, every day

Whay do you do this? she said
Because it quiets my mind, he said

Megaton megadoners
Brushing the stuff
off my tongue each morning
Keys, glasses, billfold, phone

Looking back for more
Than I had the first time
It’s always worth remembering
Always worth sticking around

Seeing you walk through that door
Has made all the difference

It’s a beauty like how we speak
To our mothers through the years

A demon will kiss you
And just stare
Like an animal in a cage
But you go right through

A family can form in a split second

Show Poem: Everyone can hear your life Shifting gears in the night… July 06/ Arlington, VA /galaxy hut #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

Dentists on trampolines.
Stolen abusurd dialogue
Hula hoops and sparklers
Eating bananas at night

DC hot nights
Surviving in the crosswind
Everyone can hear you
Passing in the night

Walks in the dark park
The ladies jiggle their things
For the camera
Motorcycles igniting
And recording we are the world
The penis story with a twist

Everyone can hear your car
Everyone can hear your life
Shifting gears in the night

I’m glad you are leading this
Sexposition

The light fixture illuminates
Like a breast under a sona gram.

Shoulders twisting like
Dinasaur bones
In in the tar pit

All this ice we take for granted.
All the flare from these red rockets
Our pockets hanging down
Beneath our knees

At least there’s an hour of
Happiness every day
Cheers to the nameless
And all the name knowers

Show Poem: We crawl for the love… July 03/ Baltimore, MD /The Wind Up Space #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

Woken by dogs again
The ache creeps in
Like light through
A crack under the door
Or a cat under the bed

The only skin I see
Are your henna tatoos hands
But you drive like Mad Max lady
And that keeps me in your
Rear view mirror

Bananas and blue berries
Chatting with old friends
Love is choosing
Love is choosing us
Reflecting our reflectors
Reconnecting out connectors

We laugh at less and enjoy more
Soprano sax phone ringers
Moon lit nights and marinara sauce
Square pizza
We become what we
Used to laugh at

We crawl for the love
We pine for it
Like pizza after
Giving birth
While things
Potatoes, pieces of meat
Water

There will always be car fights
And tainted meat
The world is not at no risk
Of running out of Gatorade

But they can’t bottle this
They can’t hang it on hooks
It’s…

Show Poem: I do not have to be loved By every puppy and kitten… July 02/ Philadelphia, PA /Hong Kong Garden #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

I do not have to be loved
By every puppy and kitten
In true form or otherwise
Pixilated and remotely transmitted

Uncomfortable obligatory
Body functions

Plucking fruits off
The guitar tree
Failing to judge a
Monster’s eating habits
Fake powdered peach tea

The stress of riding arrows
Into the heats of people
You do not know

The ice cream truck music
Plays on in the distance
An endless loop
My first experience
With sampling.

Found and terrifying memories
Motorcycling along
Another soft pretzel
Eyes in a fish bowl
Chicken and shrimp
We’re all the same
when We’re fried

We’re all the same when we
Talk through a hole in our neck
We’re all the same when we’re kissing
Through holes in our necks

We were all beautiful
When we smeared it around
So beautiful  when you let go
The dogs barking in the distance
Drinking beer beneath the street lamp

Show Poem: A drop of kindness For every tear drop… July 01/ New Brunswick , NJ /Court Tavern #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

Soy burger diner
I see dead people
A place to put my drink

Smurf cum graffiti
On a thoughtful piece of art

Badly exicuted guitar riffs
Litter the back alley air
The sabbath always ends
With Sabbath

Catching nothing out of
The corner of my eye

I’ve eaten the same falafel
In two states

Men and women
Getting pushed around
In strollers and wheelchairs
Walkers and canes

Guy outside Super Cuts
Smoking and playing
With his phone
Listening to something
On headphones
Wearing a hat
Sunglasses hanging
From the collar of his shirt

Can’t stop staring
Where is he going
What is he thinking
Does he cat call women
Does he like women

Was that the wrong word choice?
There’s something
Like this happening
In a hundred other places.
I’m sure of it.

Fish on the walls and doors underwater
Pictures of cats taken by dogs
Parking. Meters
Nickel and…

Show Poem: Let’s see how it feels To feel good for a while… June 27 / Brooklyn, NY /Shea Stadium #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

The nightmare comes after the dream
And then the dream returns

Hop on hop off
No amount of rain
Can wash away this filth
The filth of millions of friends
And millions of dogs of friends
And tens of millions of dogs of friends shits

Bathing at the bottom of the well
A single orange balloon
Tied to my wrist

Tight rope walker
Stretching across the sky
Home is where you hang

A beautiful black bird
Feasts upon something dead
By the side of the road

Coming up for air
Your ad here
Let’s ride this rainbow
Into a positive millennium
Breakup sex marriage

Let’s see how it feels
To feel good for a while
Let’s feel more
More than a feeling
There is no divot replacing
There are moles in one
There are no holes
no right time weong time
There is only somewhere else
And that’s not…

Show Poem: Eat this and never die… June 25 / Buffalo, NY /Sugar City #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

Audience of zombie teachers
Prison closet sex club
Fueld by an over active bladder
And pocketed coil technology

Eat this and never die
I finally found the right snack
Brain rolls covered in icing

Lost baggage shows up
In a different time zone

Rain clouds on a silver Buffalo
A gauntlet of trees
Passing on the left
The organ grinder tips his hat
And smiles

Fighting dirty in the car

The cows are gathered
In their masses
Upon green pastured
Midnight masses

Sorry brings the hurt
Sorry brings the hammer down
Nobody sees it like you
And I know that’s
Extremely frustrating
Like a bird who only knows
It’s own song

We must learn to use the black Light
to excavate the crime scene
We must sing inside the fishbowl
to Create song bubbles

Show Poem: It’s hard when you hear everything… June 24 / Kent, OH /Stone Tavern #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

It’s hard when you
hear everything
It’s hard to know
where the fountain
Water goes

Dead child area
Feeding the lake
A tree falls in the woods
A random smoking hole
How to stay asleep all night

It’s hard to remember that
Life ain’t nothing
But a funny funny riddle

Worshiping at the
Church of the 16 vaginas
Home of the 10 dollar lap dance
Free chips and sangria

A stones throw from your heart

Flags on a car
Pizza underground
Gas is cheap here
Gas is cheap here
Gas is cheap here

Real fruit shakes
Ripe for the sippin
River of love
Burning witch nipples
Watching the ripples spreading
A natural current
A current of jelly
A vegetable jam

Beautiful birds and ugly songs.
Gas tank vinyl burns
Brian James Town Hash Tag Slur
Ugly birds and beautiful sings

I’ll talk to you lampshade
I’ll what makes you tick

Show Poem: I praise the human inventions… June 23 / Detroit, MI / Pj’s Lager House #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

I learned to love myself
At a very early age
And this has made
All the difference

I do fear the day
When we are all thumbs
But I also try to learn
The language of the
Feet and mouths

Goodbye blue Monday
Hello red Tuesday
The rest of the week
Is a rainbow sucker
Spinning around God’s
Asshole
What color will she land on?
I don’t know

All that I see is the green grass
Waving in the yard
A distant dogs bark
A loose rattle if dishes

I have friends making love
Half way around the world
I see paintings of their faces
in every cloud that blows by

I praise the human inventions
That allow me to appreciate
All the non human inventions

Show Poem: Death by couch… June 22 / Lansing, MI / GTG House #SchwervonPoetry

schwervon's avatarSchwervon!

Death by couch
Bathtub marmalade
Dough eyed morning after pill
The coffe guy is very talkative today

Zucchini bread circus
I have always found comfort
Amongst those playing a role

The cool new thing to do
Review
Taking thunder from a baby
Stripping for the nerds
High definition humping
On a bed of fresh greens

Tornado alley
Exploding produce
Rice pudding and face soap

It’s the Hungar
That makes the snake
Taste so good.

Mud helps the orgasam
No one understands the blood
National guard
Exta cash on the weekends

I never even notice the flag.
Perhaps it’s time to take it down.
